about my resources

This website began as a home for my personal witchcraft blog; a space to gather my thoughts, collect inspiration, and document my evolving magical path. Over time, however, and especially through the growth of my own small, cherished community of fellow witches, I began to see a need for online resources that are freely available, diverse in perspective, and grounded in lived experience.

In truth, my own journey might have looked quite different without the witchcraft websites and forums of the early 2000s—those humble, hand-coded pages where practitioners shared their rituals, spells, and practices long before the rise of social media. It was there, amidst the cottage magic blogs and hedgecraft forums, that I found guidance, resonance, and a sense of belonging. That legacy of open sharing remains close to my heart, and it is one I hope to honour here.

As a result, this site has grown into a living archive of thoughtful, practical magical resources—such as my ongoing public Black Book project—intended to support and inspire other practitioners. It is built on the belief that magical knowledge should be collaborative and accessible, existing outside the frameworks of paywalls, influencer culture, and gatekeeping hierarchies.

Everything here is self-funded and entirely independent. I do not accept donations, sell courses or readings, nor do I host sponsorships or brand partnerships. What you’ll find is a labour of love—resources created with one guiding purpose: to offer magic that is accessible, practical, grounded, and free.

All current and future writings are rooted in my own beliefs and approach to the craft, drawing inspiration from old-style, folkloric, and Traditional witchcraft. They are written exclusively for this site and are meant to be adapted and reworked to suit your own practice—wherever your path may lead, provided your beliefs and magical framework allow for it.

I’ve been a practicing witch for 25 years, with nearly two years of study and exploration before I truly began what I consider my journey as a witch. My early years were rooted in cottage and hedge witchery, where I spent over a decade tending to home-based magic and spirit work before slowly developing the historically informed, folkloric magical tradition I practice today.

I hold a degree in education and have worked as both a classroom educator and a college-level tutor. My background in curriculum development and teaching research skills deeply informs the way I create magical resources—in the hopes of being approachable, engaging, and useful for practitioners at all levels.
